Service User Statements

We asked our service users for feedback on our services, this is what they had to say:

Excellent - Sue has helped me no end.

(What has been your experience of Room at the Inn daytime/night time?)

I have been pointed  in to the right services and have now obtained medication to help me on my recovery.

(What was your experience of the services we provide?)

Very nice building inside and out. The pods are very basic but comfortable and modest.

(What are your views about the building?)

We also asked about suggestions for improvements/activities: The idea of some day trips days out was a popular suggestion.

Staff will go out of their way to help if you are in genuine need.

(What has been your experience with our staff?)

“I was once homeless and now volunteer at RATI, mainly in the kitchens. As I have been through similar trials,  I feel I can be a mentor to those going through difficulties. RATI helps turn lives around’.

ABOUT US >

Room at the Inn is a charity that was launched after the closure of the Warrington YMCA.

We provide daytime services to homeless and vulnerable people at our site on Winmarleigh Street Monday to Friday between 10am to 5pm on a walk-in basis and also operate a supported accommodation hostel on Museum Street for people who have been referred by WBC.

Our goal is to help people to access the services they need to go forward more positively with their lives. Our dedicated staff and volunteers support people through very difficult times and help them to find a better future.

Not everyone, without help, will be able to move forward because of the challenges that they have.
